My 1st LaPass

This is my first La Passacaglia quilt that I made all entirely by hand. ABSOLUTELY love love love every minute putting this together. Will I do it again?........ YES I WILL.  I am now officially addicted to EPP! 

I started this challenge  upon myself in Feb. 4, 2011. I just wanted something really exciting to do and at the same time challenging. Fussy cutting? new terminology for me but I made every effort to learn it. Some rosettes here have fussy cut variations. Fabric coordination was also challenging because I always doubt my decision but in the long haul it panned out to be PERFECT! Got no regrets with this beauty for sure

3.5 months after and a total 2,954 pieces this beauty really tested my patience. This was intended to be a bed cover but I couldn't bear the thought of throwing this in the wash every week, I mean c'mon just imagine the pieces getting detached from each other is making my cringe. So this will  end up framed and hanged one of our walls in the house (will decide soon).
